Oh my days!
How unexpected! Such surprise.
It seems my gods,
Are finally entertaining my cries.
My how you’ve grow!
How beautiful are your eyes!
Had someone told me,
I’d have sworn ‘t is utter lies!

Yet there you are my boy!
Tangible! As real as could be.
Feature almost identical.
Like a rendering of a younger me.
Holding you in my arms,
As gentle as could be.
A thought so captivating
I am overcome with glee!

But then a rush of sadness.
Fills me with despair.
For those that claim to love you
About you they couldn’t care!
Why should you be deprived?
Of food, of water, of air?
Are you not emotionally starved?
The fact that I cannot be there?
