Ash in the Sky

Sunrise

I wake up to another dream,

the one that came to stay,

I look for magic

as the sun

comes closer,

I fell petals breathing

with every cloud,

rainbow calling the rain

blue wishes coming home

to you,

to me,

to that place we belong,

feelings umbrella

on a shaded day.

***

Too far from fear,

yet too close,

too strong

to let go

of what passed,

one time regrets melted

in ashes,

another sky,

the same,

the one I looked at

in your eyes.

***

I care not about yesterdays,

the times we left behind,

words waterfall

becoming angels,

can I borrow your wings,

just for one dream

the one where love never left,

by your side,

I can open another sky,

sunrise,

no ash

just summertime

rising with laughter,

dragonflies,

in every color as pearls linger

on hearts tide.
