Stars on the Ground

Unbound

In letting you go on

I kept part of my soul,

I lost,

and yet I found,

the sight of me

as I used to belong,

the smile,

not incomplete

if on a different road,

sound of your laughter

out at sea

mirrors to keep

relive

what could have been

melted,

new song,

what will become

sparkle of bond

yet to uncover

in a flower melody.

***

I wished upon a leaf

I heard waves call

answered the breeze,

I walked further than thought,

I cared

and let the moon speak.

In diving oceans deep

I knew not where my heart belonged,

soul home

was there,

gone in a blink,

a sunny pearl to keep.

***

I give you sunshine

in the dew,

I care for every color,

you are still here,

more

yesterdays passed,

today,

always yours

in love gift,

take sun rays,

weave another song

will you let me keep that one word

that carried faith

and let me find

my peace?

Such vivid and sad beauty captured slow motion, frame by frame; as if by an Attenborough cameraman, truly marvelous!
