Life's only constant is change.-Michelle Liew
**********************************************************************
Frost layers parched leaves,
Icy chill that marks the end,
Under its cold breath,
New seeds wait for warmth to bud,
Heralding the waiting spring
************************************************************
Icicles now melt,
River flows to rouse the Earth,
Icy frost steps clear,
New life now blooms in the sun,
Within Spring’s soft, gentle glow.

You could almost switch these and have the same effect. Really lovely, Michelle!
Gosh Michelle, that was absolutely beautiful!
This is so lovely, Michelle. You write such poetic, visually evoking words about winter's chill and frost to be living in Singapore's warm, sunny climate. You heart must truly long for a burst of arctic air.
Gorgeous, frosty work! Beautifully transforming :)
