Life is fragile, but broken pieces can reform. - Michelle Liew

She
Breathes
Her gown’s
Edges crack
Ice etchings glisten
Shattering in small pieces as the sun lifts her eyes
And gather anew, hard and wise, as they close softly.

Wow what a powerful poem!
This felt so empowering! Loved your poem!
Oh, this is stunning! Michelle ✨ Such a delicate yet powerful portrayal of resilience. Those "ice etchings" breaking and reforming say so much about strength in fragility. It's both art and a quiet anthem.😊✨
Loved it because “she” can be any woman or the planet Earth herself.
This poem is so haunting and so very lovely. I adore the picture you chose - it compliments the poem quite well.
