Arise and Shine

(For those who love and appreciate the beauty of nature)

The sun's warm, golden rays kiss my eyelids,

The wind whistles a sweet harmony into my ear,

The birds outside are my alarm clock,

The rainbow dresses me in its spectacular insignia.

My hair shines as bright as the golden petals on a sunflower,

My eyes dance to the beautiful music the wind plays,

My voice sings the same soft, pleasurable tune as the birds do,

My heart admires the whole world around me.

The stars listen as I wish upon their beauty on that night,

The moon winks at me as I am about to turn in,

The world looks down upon me as I am in my bed,

The fireflies, like little fairies, throw pixie dust on my lids

And soon, I am in dreamland once again.
