First record:

A gesture corrected mid-air,

before error was even possible.

No external cause detected.

The subject seemed unaware of the interruption.

Desk survey revealed:

discarded attempts,

attempts of attempts,

paper creased where certainty lacked.

Fragments organised by rows

the subject never consults in,

as though arrangement alone could become absolution.

Speech delay noted.

A 0.4-second pause before each calculated response,

as if an unheard verdict preceded every utterance.

No interference found.

Still, the subject waited for something to pass sentence.

Shadow sighting:

not cast by light,

not responsive to the environment,

not attached to the subject except in behaviour.

Attempts to approach led to disappearance,

followed by reappearance

closer,

almost touching.

End of day analysis.

Area swept.

No other presence discovered.

Only a single set of fingerprints

lifted from the scene,

yet the patterns repeat,

paired,

mirrored,

as if belonging to two hands

with one origin:

the hand that builds the subject

and the hand

that silently undoes them.

Phenomenon ongoing.
