In group, I heard this woman say, I saw

apples in the tree, wet, red, and shiny.

Where? Then I laughed so hard I slapped my knee!

With snow out there that is against the law!

I used to go pick apples with Grandpa

I can hear him now as he yelled to me

Be careful there, as I just saw a bee

Then I would make apple pies with Grandma.

When I looked at the tree she pointed at

I could see the red apples on the branch

Remember there are horses on that ranch?

A horse could reach for an apple at that

In the tree were apples and a carrot.
