Did you figure it out?

No doubt

He's the one for you! And

I understand

That you are concerned

To learn

That I still don't think

I'll drink

the Kool-Aid... Don't worry.

It's probably

My fate to be alone.

My phone,

Books, guitar all fill up time.

...I'll be fine...

And this is now stuck in my head...

Read both 1 and 2! Well-wrought! Eros is by far and perhaps due to its very nature the most coveted form of love, and if it wasn't we'd likely have gone extinct by now, but once the luster wears away and we're stuck in the cage of the day-to-day we tend to covet the greener grass instead. Desire, as Buddha says, becomes the cause of the suffering we sought to alleviate! That type of love which endures passion and grows in spite of the lack thereof may not come from Cupid's arrow, but it comes with time and peace as surely as rain falls and the sun shines. Take heart!

Spot on. I think you can feel lonely if you can’t ever be yourself. Wishing you all the best and much happiness Kendall.

Rocks and islands with books and poetry to protect them abound; as one of them, I thoroughly enjoyed this poem!

  • Very good, Kendall. You did a great job conveying your feelings of “aloneness.”
