An Ode To My Number One Singer.
You Know You're Cool.

You wear the coolest clothes,
And you know how to shake it
in style,
You sing the best songs,
You always make me smile,
Being in the spotlight,
It suits you well,
You make me beam with pride,
And did you know?
Those songs you sing,
Make me take my mic for a ride!
I ask you to keep singing those songs,
They are my therapy,
They make me get up in the mornings
And when I feel everything is going wrong,
I know that you will be there,
Encouraging me to wake up
And start my brand new day.

Loved this.
This is so lively and fun ☺
I'm so glad that someone thought to give thanks to singers. They bring joy and to put that thanks into a poem is a marvelous way to reciprocate
Of course myself being a music lover I had to read this. I enjoyed this. It was a good read and it made me happy. Good job, Carol.
