An Alien Encounter Village in shock
A drunken tale of untruths

A weird alien Encounter
In a village, whispers rose yesterday,
Of a man who wandered home, lost in the shock.
Through the dark country lane, late in the night,
He glimpsed a twinkling, a distant, strange light.
Could it be real? He dared to believe,
As beams from a spacecraft began to shine.
It hovered above him, swaying low,
Bright lights and clouds dancing in tow.
In a flash, faster than thought, he took flight,
Transported through realms, out of human sight.
Tests on his mind, they probed and they learned,
A humanoid with laughter to each other they turned.
What felt like an eternity was just a moments in time,
But soon he stood back on the path, his heart racing.
At home his wife was angrily pacing.
He stumbled and fell, lost in a daze.
Homeward he hurried, confusion in tow,
To find his dear wife, with eyes all aglow.
He explained his abduction she wasn’t amused
He scratched his head feeling so confused.
With breath held in wonder, mouth agape wide,
"Oh, my God!" she cried, her laughter unable to hide.
"We need to find help-she said, something's not right!"
Yet sweet relief came, knowing he was home alright.
Bursting with laughter, she couldn't contain,
Excitedly shared with the village his tale of the strange.
But the village was shocked; the stories took flight,
While in the paper that evening, it all came to light,
That this all unfolded, in a twist most grand,
After she clobbered him hard with a frying pan!
Now this man learned a lesson after that night:
Tell your wife the truth, or prepare for a clobbering fight!
