Am I not a man?

From: Social commentary

By Mat BarnsleyPublished about a year ago 1 min read

If I don't belch or fart and swear,

Am I not a man?

If I don't eyeball every curve you have,

Am I not following the plan?

If I'm in pain or if I'm hurt,

Am I not allowed to cry?

Do I really have to be told "man up,"

And if I do, then why?

Can I not appreciate fine arts?

Would that make me a wimp?

Am I only allowed to like black and blue,

Or can I like the colour pink?

If I don't like sports, getting drunk, and guns,

Am I not a man?

I may not be one in your great view,

But I'm doing the best I can...
