"Alone in the Darkness"
"A Heartbroken Journey Through Grief and Loss"
By Ahmed khizerPublished 3 years ago • 1 min read

Alone within the darkness, I stand,
Surrounded by means of shadows, in a foreign land.
The silence is deafening, the stillness so deep,
I experience like I'm misplaced in an limitless sleep.
The night time is pitch-black, and the air is cold,
I shiver and tremble, feeling so antique.
My coronary heart is heavy, my soul so unhappy,
As I contemplate the life I've had.
But then I see a glimmer, a mild so shiny,
It pierces the darkness, banishing the night time.
I feel a warm temperature spreading, deep in my soul,
And abruptly, I'm not alone.
