(I promise it's true)
hark well the wisdom I'm sharing with you.
The most unexpected way
for you to disappear
(I've seen it happen, now draw near.)
It starts out slowly
looks like happenstance
(But believe me you, it's an intricate dance!)
Your story gets recognized
(Good! For you I'm proud)
Then a shark circles, towards the new blood they crowd.
You get notified
(Think 'comment', hope 'appreciation')
Check it out and get hit with accusation.
The words come fast
(gathering into a torrent)
Accusing, convicting, all without a warrant.
"Oh no", (you respond)
"You're mistaken, not I"
"Why in the world would you say that I'm AI?"
They double-down
(bullies aren't deterred)
They aren't listening, you won't be heard.
What you have is what they want.
They'll smear your rep without permission
(Every accusation, though, is their admission)
Honey, please; I know it's rough
(This isn't why you write, create!)
Though bullies ARE, many still appreciate
Take a break, walk away
(Rest your mind, get clear)
Before you erase and disappear.

Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe it’s better to go through life a little buzzed… this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and I’m going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (‘this’ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.

I 100 % agree with you on this. Witch hunts should not be allowed anymore than creators using Ai as their own works. However you need proof, and this is why I admire the way you approach thus topic. Professionally. I’ve had thoughts but have never openly accused, because I cannot be 100% sure. I hope we are not loosing good people to others quick judgemental reactions.
