Rain falls all around

Washing away grief and pain

Leaving a rainbow

Author’s Note: This haiku is in honor of the rainbow that showed up after a thunderstorm on my deceased mother’s birthday. It brought a smile to my face, so I thought I’d share it with all of you.

Just a little reminder that all is well with the world even if it doesn't feel like it at times. Happy birthday to your mom. :)
