Rain falls all around
Washing away grief and pain
Leaving a rainbow

Author’s Note: This haiku is in honor of the rainbow that showed up after a thunderstorm on my deceased mother’s birthday. It brought a smile to my face, so I thought I’d share it with all of you.

That is a beautiful story.
Just a little reminder that all is well with the world even if it doesn't feel like it at times. Happy birthday to your mom. :)
Rainbows can be beautiful reminders
May your mother rest in peace, Stephanie. Great haiku and photo.
That's beautiful. I bet she was saying hello and that she loves you!
