Alistair Crowley

Do what thou wilt

By Mark Stigers Published about a year ago 1 min read

Mystic, poet, philosopher I am.

I took it to the hilt,

or was it all a scam?

“Do what thou wilt.”

I believed in sex magick.

I held satanic rites.

I caused quite a panic,

exploring forbidden delights.

So much I was accused of doing.

Just what was that I did?

Is there any way of knowing,

what evils I might have hid.

Did I hold the power?

Was love the law?

Were we children of the flower,

answering Satan’s call?

While my life was a blur,

what truths were left unsaid.

There is one thing for sure,

Alistair Crowley is dead.
