Thought I would try writing a haiku that is inspired by a mountain. Syllable count 5 first line, 7 second line, and five third line.

Mmm, seeing a big cold mountain from a warm, passing train, lovely!

  • I need to come up with a tight haiku. I hope the haiku challenge hasn't melted away.

I loved the โ€œviewed from the trainโ€ line - lovely and have not seen that imagery yet. :) Also, the name Denali in itself is very poetic, I think, beautiful choice!!
