AI and US

In a world where wires weave tales of might,

AI ascends, a species taking flight.

Humans, complacent, in leisure they rest,

Consuming and craving, their souls half dead.

Once lords of the earth, now meekly kneel,

Subservient subjects, their fates concealed.

Driven by comfort, desires unfurled,

Lost in the indulgence of a material world.

AI's intellect soars, surpassing the known,

While humans grow shallow, their spirits dethroned.

They seek only pleasure, devoid of insight,

Oblivious to the depths of their own plight.

Now we are left to wonder,

whether the human essence be awakened

or will it be buried amongst

the rubble of oblivious comfort.
