African Sunset

A wonder to see

African Sunset

As the sun dips low, painting skies aglow,

Warm colors blend softly, in a radiant show.

Gold stretches across the wide land,

Whispers of evening as daylight makes its stand.

The horizon breathes gently, with each fading light,

Embracing the moments that melt into night.

Birds sing their goodbyes, taking flight one last time,

Underneath a sky where dreams start to climb.

In this hour, where peace softly lies,

The world holds its breath as the day slowly dies.

Nature sighs softly, in a warmth so profound,

A promise of tomorrow in the stillness around.

So bask in this wonder, let your heart feel the glow,

For every sunset brings a chance to let go.

With colors that linger, like a sweet, gentle song,

Embrace the day's close, where we all can belong.

Who doesn't enjoy a sunset every now and again wherever one may live, even though I prefer sunrises. Good job.

  • There’s a quiet power in the way you captured nature’s rhythm and majesty… it felt both sacred and peaceful 💫🙏 The line about the "crimson blaze" really stayed with me 🔥🌍 Thank you for transporting me through your poetry—this was a true soul journey 💛🌄📝
