African Elephants
They are family, strong and tight,
With bonds unbroken, a powerful sight.
Smart and gentle, they share their ways,
In the heart of the wild, they spend their days.
With deep connections, they help one another,
Sister and brother, like no other.
They mourn their dead with care and grace,
Burying the lost in a sacred space.
Their intelligence shines; it’s plain to see,
In their playful nature and empathy.
Majestic and wise, they roam the land,
In the dance of survival, together they stand.
In the African sun, they laugh and play,
Guardians of the wild, come what may.
With every heartbeat, their story unfolds,
In the heart of the earth, their story is told.

Love it, Marie. Elephants are such majestic, lovable giants. Little known fact: Elephants are scared of bees so much so that villages have bee hives at the edge of the village for protection. 😉😉
Just like human families for the most part.
Wow
