Of how to escape

the unavoidable fate

Of a stranger's stare

Before braving the throng

Of all those whom you should beware.

When they look at you,

Just let them look through.

Try not to hear them

When they talk like they do.

If they stare just ignore them,

They can't be your friend.

Friends don't stay silent,

They greet with excitement.

So if ever you should need to disappear,

Just ignore the gawkers whenever they appear,

Then hide in plain sight,

It requires no might,

To walk by those who see you without any fear.
