A World of My Own

A World of My Own

By ElliePublished 10 months ago 1 min read

Staring at my screen, lost in a dream,

Stories unfold—soft whispers unseen.

In my mind, love burns fierce and bright,

Like Ding Yuxi swearing to fight.

But reality hums a hollow tune,

No hero rides beneath the moon.

No vow of love, no battle cries,

Just silence stitched in empty skies.

Life’s no drama, no fated arc,

No perfect lines, just echoes dark.

The thought of normal chills my spine,

A world where dreams fade, lost in time.

If only fate could shift its hand,

And build the life my heart once planned—

A perfect tale, a kingdom grand,

Where love is real, and I understand.

Perhaps in paradise, I'll make my plea,

"God, craft a world just for me."

Where every chapter bends to will,

And every love is burning still.

But for now, I stay—awake yet asleep,

Holding a dream too heavy to keep.
