A Warm Christmas Memory

It was about religious harmony

I am Hindu, from rural India,

and as such did not celebrate Christmas,

but it was important,

and we were part,

let me share a warm experience.

Our house was on the way,

to the big village Church.

After witnessing the Jesus's birth,

as the revelers returned to their houses,

the following morning, they were hungry,

and some of them stopped at our house.

In anticipation of the visits,

my parents always had food ready,

deep-fried sweets and snacks.

Each of the visitor was gifted,

with the homemade savories.

Is not that beautiful, if you think?

We are Hindu, we have own religious beliefs,

but we made special preparations,

to share with the Christians on their festival.

Let such harmony, free of conflicts,

be our way of life,

This is a feeling or feelings that we all should hold no matter what our beliefs may be. Great job.
