Santa, I Have Been Good!

Where are my gifts?

Dear Santa,

I have been good,

I have been kind.

I went on daily walks,

Hugged the oaks,

Did crafts with rocks.

I played with my sibling,

Learned my numbers,

picked many Spanish words,

and you should test my biology!

Didn’t roll on the carpet,

to not provoke my eczema

Ate rice-lentil meals,

and drank enough water.

I sat in sunshine,

to get vitamin D.

I watched the bees,

watered the garden plants,

Cleaned moringa leaves,

picked tomatoes.

I petted the neighbor’s cat,

Danced to Halloween music,

Foraged fruits too.

I did not disturb my parents,

let my Mommy write,

And didn’t make her sigh.

Where is the sleigh,

And all my gifts?
