A Thin Line

Between things that are different, but look similar there's a thin line, a line that can so easily be crossed.

There's a thin line between arrogance and innocence, in a sense

He's confident, like he's an urban deity, but never conceited

Kendrick's verse on humility keep him seated

Step inside the powerful mind of a kind man

You'll find him tryna find a plan, to bring the community together

Before there's not one left

Because our future doesn't depend on the weather

But on whether, or not we decide to work together

To get through this storm, because there'll definitely be another

And if the pen is mightier than the sword, then let these words form a map

A format, so the next time the clouds form, and the rain swarms

We'll have no sunken ships, on the way to the grand line

Because there's a lot on the line

So leave the pride on the sideline

Between being selfless and selfish, there's a thin line

What goals are in mind?

Remember this is a team effort, only together will we sip fine wine

And wont it be better, if we all eat together?

Wont it be better, if we all get the treasure?

Because there's only a thin line, between now and never

When you remember, what we have left in time

About the Creator

Josh Morgan

Personally, writing began as a creative outlet, to be a means of processing and venting emotion, but it has become so much more. Something I want not to be just relatable, enjoyable and a good read, but to reach someone who is in need.
