A Supernatural Abecedarian - Devils In The Detail
One For The Vocal Abecedarian Challenge
This was inspired by watching "Supernatural" and seeing all the monsters there. I also also a fan of Lovecraft and Victorian Horror writers as well as the Hammer Horror films. I thing that "The Wicker Man" and "The Haunting" are two of my favourite films. so here is a poem for you.
The form of this is Abecedarian made of three Octains with an AABBCCDD rhyme and a final couplet with an AA rhyme and nine syllables per line.

Gruesome Murderers On The Rue Morgue
Hellfires A Burning With Satan's Torch

Lucifer Rings Your Funeral Bell
Midian Is Just One Of Its Names
Night Creatures Howl An Eerie Refrain
Old Night Keeps The Devil Company
Planning Victims At The Gallows Tree

Red Blood Flow Stops, And It Will Run Dry
Satan's Fired Spear Will Skewer The Damned
The Condemned Dead'll Never Leave This Land
Under Constant Threat, Hope Turns To Lies
Vampires Bare Their Teeth To Drain More Lives
Werewolves Feast On Condemned Flesh Likewise
Xaphan Fallen Angel, Satan Thrives
