Generosity, though small, brings unexpected rewards. - Michelle Liew

A stranger’s knock that would not cease.
Unwilling hands, heart fixed in stone,
He brought bread, but warmth unknown.
At dawn, the strange guest slipped away
A note under his half-eaten plate now lay,
“I’ve mended your roof, as you saved mine,
A gift returned, a bond in time.”

Oh, heartwarming!
Simply Beautiful!
Beautiful work, Michelle! If only there were more kindness in our world...
This is quite lovely
Not me misreading your title as A Stranger's Cock 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Loved your poem!
Such a sweet little story! Just goes to show, a tiny act of kindness can come back in the coolest ways. Fixing roofs and hearts—what a vibe!
Absolutely Beautiful and most likely a gesture that you do not find much in today's world. A wonderful sentiment. This was special Michelle. So well done!!!
