A Story of Depression

A Call Left Unheard

By Coby SanfordPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

She lays there with her head filled with despair. Not knowing what to do or where to go. Feeling like the small ripples are tidal waves, and the small ledges are cliffsides.

She is drowning in the sea of emotions that she can't handle. She screams to the world but no one answers. So she holds it within herself. Like a bomb that's about to burst. Nothing is easy anymore, even the smallest things are the hardest to do. Til one day, she explodes. The people will gather around. With their candles and soft words. Asking why couldn't they have known something was wrong. They did but they didn't care until it was too late.
