Our apologies.

When you come here

it will be a mess.

It will not be easy-

the things you take for granted will require

effort, focus and time.

You will need to sit

in slow discomfort, unburdened by the

distractions that help you

forget

ignore

dismiss

Instead, you must re-learn

patience

and read things carefully from

beginning

to

end

But if you can sit in the

frustration

boredom

anxiety

until it passes, the other side

of this emotion offers

consideration,

thoughtfulness

observation

If you try something new

you are going to fail

After, if you can wait out the

pain,

humiliation,

regret

to the point of reflection

a spark of quiet wonder

may begin to hum and glow.
