The world is still, a peaceful hue,

A blanket of snow, a winter's view.

The stars twinkle bright, like diamonds in the sky,

A wondrous sight, a reason to sigh.

The chimneys smoke, the fire burns bright,

A warm and cozy, a magical night.

The stockings hang, with care and with glee,

A waiting for gifts, from Santa, you see.

The laughter and joy, of children at play,

A reason to smile, to laugh, to say,

"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night."

The memories made, a delight so bright.

So let us cherish, this silent night,

With love in our hearts, and peace in sight.

A celebration of hope, of love and of cheer,

Merry Christmas to all, and a happy new year.
