The snowflakes are falling, a magical sight,

As the world is blanketed, in a shimmering white.

The twinkling lights, in every window bright,

As families gather, to celebrate the night.

The smell of cookies, baking in the oven,

The sound of carols, sung by children.

The laughter and love, shared with each other,

As they come together, like a warm winter cover.

The gifts are wrapped, with care and delight,

As the spirit of giving, takes over the night.

The children are nestled, all snug in their beds,

While visions of sugarplums, dance in their heads.

So let us embrace, this joyous time of year,

With love and kindness, spreading far and near.

For Christmas is more, than just gifts and cheer,

It's about togetherness, and holding those dear.
