A Silent Morning Under the Mist and Fog
An acrostic poem
By Rae JanneyPublished about a year ago • 1 min read

The windy roads to the mountain top of Soddy Daisy, TN
Surrounded by mist and moss stained stones,
Isn't it curious how the song of
life
evades us even when the sun has long since rose from the east?
No whispers of wind or
Careful steps of a doe, almost as if
Everyone else was asleep.
