A Seasons Alike A Seasoning

A Poem

First spring came to warm the day,

Colorful flowers and all the plants sprang.

To last forever and never fade away,

When colors bloomed and birds song rang!

It changed into the hottest air,

As the summer sun set too close.

Making it hot enough to shed one's wear,

And to cool off in the water was what one liked the most.

Until eventually the skies are faded,

And the leaves fall off the trees leaving sticks.

If there was one thing I really hated,

It meant the heating of the bricks!

As winter sets into the world,

Snow falls everywhere and the plants leave.

The world is now covered in white and is very cold,

Alas I wait again to see a new leaf!

Chili's are hot to the taste,

Rosemary, thyme or licorice sticks.

Do not forget the sweet sage, let it not go to waste,

Because it is meant to be used on heated bricks!
