A Scattered Mind

“A Scattered Mind”
Scattered can be my shelf
I try to heal myself,
It can be hard to love oneself, what skeletons may remain. Honestly, I barely
contain. Once done by grenade, another time the bullets did fly, worse by
other ties.
A life of hiding another’s guise, even my eyes have surprise, it gets hard to
live this life. My mind is scatter-fest but still, I try my best to protect the mess,
this is no jest.
I could really use some rest before I lose my crest.
If it wasn’t for the best, I’d have lost the rest.
