Ink flows from my pen

As thoughts pour out of my head

Each word a small step

Towards a story to be read

My pen is my tool

My paper, my canvas

I weave worlds with words

And characters so gracious

Writing is my passion

My heart and soul on display

With every stroke of my pen

I chase the words that sway

A blank page, a mystery

A story yet to be told

But as I write, it comes to life

And my heart begins to hold

The power of the written word

To move and to inspire

With every line I pen

I set my thoughts afire

So let the ink flow freely

As I write, I am free

For in the art of writing

My truest self I see.
