A Pleasing Talk

Poem

By K.A. SmithPublished about a year ago 1 min read

A furry teen
Shakes off seventy percent
Of water after
From who tries to bathe.
And correctly
Knowing... a teen
Alone only clean
Areas light as a feather,
Know what I mean,
Rhetorically.
Cooks until on their own
A Cook!
At a place.
A magnificent look
And no fleeing smells.
Baby's all grown up.
Notices the visiting,
Booked! Another
And another sees.
An amused pour.
A pleasing talk...

I love how this captures the funny and messy parts of growing up! The mix of humor and growth is so relatable. 😊
