When you grow to a certain age you should stop chasing materialistic things. In this life, you have not a lot of time to spend. Be even more simple, be realistic, and be as comfortable as you want to be with whoever you are with.

If you cannot chase it, do not follow it; if it is not yours, do not release it; if you cannot bear it, do not pay attention to it; go wherever you want to go and live in your own spiritual world, that is perfect.

We still remain chasing fame, money, and positions all in an attempt to gain recognition militating for these materialistic things.

But as years pass by, we start to comprehend that such stimuli are unable to provide happiness and satisfaction. The highest aim of existence is happiness. We have, indeed, to learn to value time and stop chasing fleeting and ephemeral dreams. I think it is all about being simple, realistic, and in the company of those who do not stress you up.

As for the things which elude us, do not pertain to us, cannot be brought, and cannot be endured, there exist the verbs, let go, don’t want, don’t chase, and ignore. These are not simply decisions to surrender, but rather fully voluntary decisions.

As people once said, in our journey we understand when to pick up and when to let go. That is only the way we are able to find out our own directions and real purposes in life. In this process, we keep learning the truth of the unknown of life and the purpose of life.

It means we use our inner experience or emotion to grasp reality and always grasp ourselves. Therefore, I can be confident that in becoming more self-directed, we also select our own lifestyle and course to correct our own lives.
