A New Way of Seeing

The universe gave me a new glasses prescription,

And it's amazing to see things through this perception.

In everything there is deeper beauty and clarity,

Along with many more smiles and hilarity.

Light and colors shine brighter,

And naturally, everything feels a bit lighter.

Moving along life completely unaware,

Blinded by my own despair.

How did I not notice Earth's beauty?

Only focused on my mind and society's duty.

Glad I stopped to smell the roses,

Instead of striking old, fake poses.

We never stop learning,

And our paths never stop turning.

I will remain open and honest,

While maintaining my inner artist.
