A new love?

Or what is this now?

A new love?

From start to finish,

It was growth

It was solid,

It was gold.

We hurt each other,

But we loved each other more,

And we gave each other the chance to be ourselves anew.

This love we'll carry into the next stage,

Evolved,

Ready to become new joys.

A beautiful tribute to us. Thank you.

  • There should always give ans take in all relationships. Loved your poem!

  • Renewal is always nice on the rare instance that it happens. Good to applaud it in a poem

  • Always becoming deeper & higher & broader & something more.

"We hurt each other, But we loved each other more," Gosh. This one hit hard. We never want to intentionally (usually) hurt our loved ones. But gosh, shit happens. And this was so honest, so real. And I appreciate you owning it. We all should.
