Patinas of amber pour in purlins
Through clear panes.
Particles glimmer and dance,
Glittering golden pixie dust,
Turning soot into something alluring,
And ethereal.
The azure arctic breeze billows
Through unseen cracks
In perfect dissimilitude.
An enchanting paradox
Of cozy cordiality and
Distant gelidity.
Steely exigent November,
Full of gratitude
And unrequited gray
