"My Moving Colors"

Written by Marisa Laurelle Love

My Toes-!

They've turned Red-!

What a turn of events-

and my Heart now beat-beats in Blue tones-

while my Tongue, it tastes Green

(not a sight to be seen, for my Lips have been sealed by the Thrones!)

T'wer it not for my Eyes

peering through the Dark Skies

I'd think I had turned to a Ghost-

my Hands quake in Pink

as such Love tries to sink;

must I keep all My Colors more close?

The Orange has escaped

but I gave it permission-

(for things had been rotting

like too-dirty dishes)-

Oh the Yellow-! My Castle!

( So to save me the hassle

of picking up too much to digest-)

n' just a True Wish away-

n'er too gone to relay-

winks the Violet, that lives in my Chest!

Yes, Tomorrow may bring

a New Song to sing-sing-

what once was Grey, now a Gold;

the Invisible Chairs of My Colors, who Know

the movement

that helps

to Unfold!

A fun lil' free write inspired by - well, obviously- my colors. :)

About the Creator

Marisa Laurelle

Hi! My name's Marisa. Really, it is. And it's pronounced like "Lisa"- Mareeesa. It's hard for people, I'm not sure why that is.:)

Anyways- I like to write, sing, dance, and explore the inner and outer worlds as much as possible. Birds rule.
