A long wait
A piece I wrote for my long distance ex boyfriend
Waiting you was never a problem
Waiting you was never a problem
Every night, Everyday, Every minute and Every second
Was nothing but a long wait for me
All those nights when I slept hugging my pillow assuming it was you
Was nothing but a long wait for me
All those days when I talked with the wind assuming as you were standing in front of me
Was nothing but a long wait for me
I had waited you as the sun waits for stars to meet
I had waited you as the sky waits for ocean to meet
I would’ve waited you for my whole life
Without knowing that
The sun never meets the star
And, The sky never meets the ocean
But now all those long wait came to an end
And we were never destined to meet……..

The grey beards say the key to dueling lies in size, speed, reach, righteous fury, whatever the person in front of them pays them to say.
