I am but a little bit of fluff on the wind,
Fast and fleet footed I am when life holds by a tread.
If anything were too sudden I'd very quickly be pinned,
For any unseen threat would soon have me dead.
To combat this little dilemma I made a simple plan,
Which leaves most unseen wondering just where have I gone.
A slip and a snap goes my teeth quick as a fan,
I take my little mouthful and scurry well before dawn.
Eating in secret keeps me well out of harms way,
Though little can be done to keep my stomach fully satisfied.
Eventually I will find the path to satiety one day,
But until then I must be quick and leave my enemies stupefied.

Toby Heward
Creativity is boundless. We are gardeners that bring forth these fruits of wonder. Nature is my passion and I love to help readers see the stories with their own eyes through my works. Whether its poems, fact, or fiction I bring it to life.
