A Lingering Memory

It will never die or fade

A Lingering Memory

In a sunlit meadow where laughter was good,

We danced in the fields, our hearts understood

The gentle breeze whispered secrets so sweet,

As we chased after dreams with light in our feet.

Under the oak tree, your smile like the sun,

We carved our initials, two souls bound as one.

The world faded softly, just you and me there,

Lost in our moment, a beautiful air.

With stars as our witness, we shared silent hopes,

Painting our future with shimmering scopes.

Time seemed to linger, as daylight turned gold,

In that cherished memory, our story unfolds.

Now the grass is still, and the winds gently sigh,

Yet I hold that moment, a spark in my mind.

Though seasons may change, and years drift away,

That sweet memory lingers, forever to stay.
