a mere whisp of ink
as it trails across the page
Pen tapping against it at a steady rhythm
as it hovers above the line's edge

Just one line
ready to become something more
an unimaginable choice of possibilities!
the pen, imagination fueled
what will that mundane and simple line become?
A line, turned into words, then sentences
scratched on paper and written madly in fury
The start of a heart racing thriller
Or flowing gracefully, turning into elegant curves
curves turning into words
the beginning of a poetic love story
two vastly different stories
every single story
all starts out the same
with a line
Just one line
It's everything and anything
for just a brief moment of time

Getting Serious About Comedy (Part I)
If I were asked to remark on my life and the childhood that paved some road leading me to this point, I would have to say something about all the funny people who surrounded me for the last 26,872 days (and counting). Somewhere along that road, I became a big fan of laughter and the comedy that spawns it – and, I mean not only my own laughter, but the laughter of others, some of which I have actually been responsible for inducing.
