To my darling my Valentine

A Letter of Love

My Dearest,

I sit here, thinking of you,

Of all the moments we once knew.

The laughter, the joy, the quiet nights,

When everything felt so completely right.

I miss the way your hand felt in mine,

The way your smile could make the world shine.

Though time has passed, my feelings stay,

I long for you more each passing day.

I know I’ve made mistakes, and for that I’m sorry,

But in my heart, you’re my one true story.

I want to make things right, to start anew,

To show you my love, forever true.

So here I am, laying it bare,

I love you deeply, beyond compare.

I want you back, with all my heart,

To heal the wounds and never part.

Please take a chance, come back to me,

Together, we can let love set us free.

I will never hurt you, ever again.

With no you my smiles have turned to pain

With all my love, George’s Girl
