There's this kind of uncommon thing,

a kind of uncommon thing we yearn for.

This thing that's hard to come by,

a thing that's written about in much of lore.

This thing that brings us joy, fulfillment, and pain,

it can be a wave crashing or a demon to be slain.

It envelops us, gently and comfortingly like summer breezes,

or it can overwhelm, like a steam that surrounds and teases.

This thing awakens our desires with flame,

it can be impossible to hide or tame.

If you're so lucky as to find this uncommon thing,

cherish and hold on to it and all the joys it can bring.
