A Journey Through Time

If I could travel back in time,

To a world so far and so divine,

I'd go to a place where love was real,

Where laughter echoed and joy was the ideal.

I'd go to a time when innocence was key,

Where life was simple and carefree,

And in this world, I'd like to stay,

Until I'm ready to come back to today.

I'd see the world through different eyes,

And learn to appreciate the simple ties,

Of family and friends, and love that's true,

And in this world, I'd find my place too.

I'd live life to the fullest each day,

And cherish each moment in every way,

And when it's time for me to return,

I'll bring with me all that I've learned.

So if I could travel back in time,

I'd go to a world that's truly fine,

And I'd live life in a way that's true,

And in this world, I'd find a place for you.
