A Heisted Dog's Knee

A Dying, Yellow Tree

By Nicole CrownedPublished 4 years ago Updated 4 years ago 1 min read
Baby Juniper

I was a baby juniper as green as green could be.

I once had healthy branches that everyone could see.

Unfortunately, this past year, I stated seeing a new me.

My owner thinks it was because of many four-legged friends wee wee.

So please if you happen by, and see a heisted dog's knee, understand that junipers are not free and I wouldn't want my owner to have to replace this sad, dying yellow tree.

Remember being mindful and showing kindness to others is the key.

So just keep on walking by this little tree merrily.
