A Goodbye To The longest Winter
A winter I just want to say goodbye too.

A Goodbye To The longest Winter
Today I awoke to sunshine,
The sun shining through my blinds.
Winter, you have lingered long,
With lowest temperatures, and darkened days.
Now in this this warmth I give sigh,
A soft farewell, to your darken sky?
The ice retreats, the shadows shrink,
And snowdrops bloom along the path.
The breeze no longer bites my skin,
A gentler promise stirs within.
The sky, once pale, now dares to glow,
As streams resume their quiet flow.
The trees, though bare, now seem to dream,
Their branches touched by dawn’s soft gleam.
A single bird dares test its voice, so nice.
A fragile kiss goodbye, to cold snow and ice.
As you slip away, a little more each day
I will not mourn, nor question why.
For every season has its turn,
And in the sun, new hopes I now will burn.
